There were alarmed looks, and after much Googling, discovered the car needed an Umweltplakette (or Green Sticker) to visit Stuttgart. We didn’t fancy the idea of a hefty fine, hence our detour to seek assistance from DEKRA who were very helpful even though it was their lunch break.
